It is so strange not being able to go to school! We really miss seeing your happy faces each day but hope that you are staying safe and well at home with your families.
We think about you often and are wondering what you have been doing to keep yourself busy? If you would like to share with us any of the activities, home learning tasks or Easter activities you have been doing, please email email@example.com, we would love to see them!
As we’re keeping safe at home with our families too, we thought that you might like to see what we’ve been up to after we have finished doing our school work….
Miss Kindon loves to be outside and has been spending time in her garden with her children and pets. Whilst doing some gardening, she spotted some creatures that you may recognise. Can you name them?
She spotted a butterfly and a ladybird! Our classes are called those names too!
What can you see out of your window or in your garden? You may have to stand quietly for a while, but you could spot some birds or mini beasts flying around now that the weather is getting warmer.
Mrs Binks has been helping her boys with their school work at home and has enjoyed doing some rainbow themed art with them. In addition to this, she had a special delivery last week….
The photo on the left was taken on the day they arrived. The caterpillars are so tiny! The photo on the right was taken today. After eating lots of food, look how much the caterpillars have grown in one week!
You might like to watch and listen to Singing Hands read and sign Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar with a grown up. There are lots of useful signs to use when taking about caterpillars, butterflies, food and days of the week. Miss Atkins has been going for a walk as her daily exercise but keeping her distance from other people she may see on her way so she stays safe. What a good way to keep fit! What you have been doing to keep active?
Mrs Chappell has been working hard with her girls, helping them to do their school work. After they’ve finished, they have been doing some planting in their garden. Have you done any gardening?
Mrs Dempster has also been very busy helping her children with their school work and had lots of fun playing games with them afterwards. Have you played any games at home?
Keep an eye on our class page too, there may be some new home learning tasks that you may wish to complete with your families https://sites.google.com/rushallict.co.uk/education-continuity If you have any questions about this please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Finally, we would like to wish you and your family a very Happy Easter and hope that the Easter bunny brings you lots of yummy Easter eggs!
Please stay safe and have lots of fun! We hope to be back at school with you soon!
